Black Widow
In 2024, I designed my very own inspired perfume called Black Widow. The bottle is crystal with an embossed spider plastered to the body. The cap is a delicate insect in the spider’s path.
Black Widow has notes of Opium Poppy, Saffron, Oakmoss and Vetiver.
IMMERSION IN NATURE
Perfume is versatile and meant to attract. Zoologist Perfume is a company designed to replicate the animals’ habitats, behaviors and looks; their similarities and differences with humans, and even their smells.
In this project I aimed to make Zoologist a bottle that reflects the complexity and drama of their scents. This bottle must be bold, functional and represent the animal wholly.

The cap is fat and wide, easy to grab. Like the spider reaching for it’s trapped prey, we reach to remove the butterfly from it’s jaws. Are we rescuing it, or introducing it to a new captor? A black widow’s life is one of competition.
